Abstract

The aim of this study is to elicit early childhood teachers’ coping strategies with children
who have masturbation behavior. Interview methods as one of the qualitative research data collection
methods were adopted. Data was collected through administering an interview questionnaire which
involves open-ended questions. Gathered data were analyzed by content and descriptive analysis. The
results of the study reveal that the teachers’ knowledge and their coping strategies with children who have
masturbation b ehavior is inadequate.
