The study conducted with the relational screening model was carried out with the 6th, 7th and 8th-grade students studying at public schools in the district of Mardin province (Artuklu) in the second term of the 2015-2016 academic year. In order to identify the study habits of students, Study Habits Scale developed by Günaydın (2011) and the second version of Kolb Learning Style Scale developed by Kolb (1984) were used in the study. In the light of the findings, in terms of study habits, it was observed that female students had a lower average of 8th class avoidance behaviors than male students, and had a higher average at all class levels and all study habit dimensions. Besides, the differentiation of learning styles according to class level and gender were examined and it was found that both class level and gender have significant effects son learning styles
