Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of using “Individualized Mathematics Teaching Material (IMTM)” presented with interactive unit to the students’ success and attitude. The forty 6th grade students who fulfill the precondition abilities is the sample. In the collection of the data, the researchers employed two types of instruments: the Scale of Attitudes towards Mathematics and the Mathematics Success Test. After the collection of the data, the researchers used the independent samples t-test and paired samples t-test with T=0.05 in the analysis of the data. The results showed that a) Students’ mathematics success increased on experimental group that used IMTM (t=- 23.23, p=.00<.05) and the experimental group’s students outperformed the control group’s students (t=8.61, p=.00<.05). (b) Although the experimental group’s attitude score means increased ( x =84.90 to x =88.35) control group’s score decreased ( x =84.85 to x =83.45) but there were no statistically significant
