Abstract

On the scope of this study, adaptation studies of Child Behavior Scale which was developed by Ladd and Profilet (1996) to Turkey have been made. 64 teachers and 336 students participated the study. Confirmatory factor analysis has been made in order to examine that in what extent theoretical structure explains the relations among the data which were obtained by using Turkish Form of the scale. Coefficients of suggested model indicate that the model is sufficient. Furthermore, discriminant and convergent validity coefficients, structure reliability, and Cronbach Alpha coefficients reveal that Child Behavior Scale is a valid and reliable scale to evaluate behaviors and peer relationships of the children who are in primary school age in Turkey.
